(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
PAGE CRESCENT & LAYTON CRESCENT, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement work by SGN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Page Crescent and Layton Crescent, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Page Crescent will be closed at its eastern junction with Denning Avenue, adjacent to No. 1 Page Crescent, from 14 to 28 September 2026.
b) Layton Crescent will be closed at its eastern junction with Denning Avenue, adjacent to No. 1 Layton Crescent, from 14 to 28 September 2026.
c) Page Crescent will be closed at its western junction with Denning Avenue, adjacent to No. 20 Page Crescent, from 21 September to 12 October 2026.
d) Layton Crescent will be closed at its western junction with Denning Avenue, adjacent to No. 42 Layton Crescent, from 21 September to 12 October 2026.
3. During the closures the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below. Access to properties will be maintained.
• Via Page Crescent and Denning Avenue.
• Via Layton Crescent and Denning Avenue.
4. The Order will come into operation on 14 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle involved in carrying out the said works,
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

QUEEN ELIZABETH’S DRIVE, NEW ADDINGTON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate blockage clearance works on behalf of Openreach, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Queen Elizabeth’s Drive.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, the road will be closed outside Nos. 140 to 148 Queen Elizabeth’s Drive.
3. The Order will come into operation on 14 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 16 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
4. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Queen Elizabeth’s Drive, Arnhem Drive and Salcot Crescent and reversed.
5. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
6. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

STANLEY GARDENS, SOUTH CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Stanley Gardens, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Stanley Gardens will be closed between its junctions with Onslow Gardens and Blagology Lane.
3. During the closure access for residents will be maintained.
4. The Order will come into operation on 14 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed by 28 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
