Temporary Closure Of Clappentail Lane, Lyme Regis

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CLAPPENTAIL LANE, LYME REGIS between its junction with B3165 and the entrance to Halstock, a distance of approximately 310 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26 September 2026.

This Order will enable South West Water, safe access to carry out trial holes.

An alternative route will be signed using; B3165 - A3052

Temporary Closure Of Pettycrate Lane, Chideock

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along PETTYCRATE LANE, CHIDEOCK between its junction with Langdon Hill and a point approximately 135 metres west. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 02 October 2026.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out flood prevention works.

Temporary Closure Of Picket Lane, South Perrott

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along PICKET LANE, SOUTH PERROTT between its junction with Manor Close and Bellamy Farm, a distance of approximately 65 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 07 October 2026.

This Order will enable National Grid, safe access to carry out a supply upgrade.

All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VICTORIA GROVE, BRIDPORT between its junction with West Street and Martin and Company, a distance of approximately 35 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 September 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 09 October 2026

This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas main replacement works.

An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Coneygar Road - A3066 - B3162
