What is happening?

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Order,

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Public Right Of Way at Barn Owl Walk and Bagleys Road, Quarry Bank) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrians proceeding on the Public Right of Way at Barn Owl Walk & Bagleys Road, Quarry Bank (between Cowslip Walk and Stamford Road) for the purpose of gas main replacement being carried out on or near the affected public right of way. The order will come into operation on 28.09.2026 (the restriction on Bagleys Road will not begin until 05.10.2026) and will remain in force until 19.10.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 6 months. Pedestrians will be diverted via: Stamford Road and Cowslip Walk.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Furlong Lane, Halesowen) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Furlong Lane, Halesowen, for the purpose of carriageway reconstruction being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 28/09/2026 and will remain in force until 16/10/2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Colley Gate, Colley Lane, Butchers Lane, Banners Lane, Colman Hill, Drews Holloway, Windmill Hill, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Queen Street, Pensnett) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Queen Street, Pensnett, for the purpose of new gas mains connections being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 28.09.2026 and will remain in force until 16.11.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Swan Street, Broad Street, Commonside, Queen Street, and vice versa.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Hadcroft Road, Oldswinford) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Hadcroft Road, Oldswinford, for the purpose of gas main replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 28.09.2026 and will remain in force until 12.10.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion is required.
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Public Right Of Way Davena Grove) Order 2026 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrians proceeding on the Public Right of Way at Davena Grove and Georgina Avenue for the purpose of a new electricity supply installation being carried out on or near the affected public right of way. The order will come into operation on 28.09.2026 and will remain in force until 09.10.2026 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 6 months. Pedestrians will be diverted via: Davena Grove, Highlands Road, Ash Street, Lane Street, and vice versa. Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
