NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a number of alterations to the existing traffic restrictions along parts of East Street and West Street, Corfe Castle.

Temporary Closure of C27, Church Knowle
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along C27, Church Knowle from Access to Bucknowle Farm to a point approximately 310 metres to the east (in both directions). The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5th October 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16th October 2026.
This Order will provide Wessex Water with safe access to install a flow meter in the Sewage Pumping Station.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using A351, C27 and vice versa.
