The proposal may affect the setting of Parish Church of St Margaret of Antioch which is a Grade I Listed Building – 28.35 metres away.

The proposal may affect the setting of Church Farmhouse which is a Grade II Listed Building – 45 metres away.

(Bicknacre Road, East Hanningfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bicknacre Road, East Hanningfield in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 220m north east of its junction with Highfields Mead for a distance of approximately 300m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th October 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSNTH6W – Openreach). (Chatham Green, Little Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chatham Green, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 295m north west of its junction with Strawbrook Hill for a distance of approximately 10m in a north westerly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pan Lane & Old Church Road, East Hanningfield in the City of Chelmsford, from the junction with Back Lane for a distance of approximately 920m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311007WGTG3H6W & BC311008WGTG3H6W – Openreach). (Paradise Road, Writtle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Paradise Road, Writtle in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 335m south east of its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a south easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Smallgains Lane, Stock in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Marigold Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly direction. (South Hanningfield Road, Rettendon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of South Hanningfield Road, Rettendon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 80m south west of its junction with Chalk Street for a distance of approximately 85m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th October 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSNTK9Z – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Various Roads, City of Chelmsford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.12) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the City of Chelmsford as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (City of Chelmsford) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only.

All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 17th September 2026, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Downham Road, West Hanningfield in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Stock Road to its junction with Lower Stock Road a distance of approximately 610m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2402753 – Essex County Council). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction on that length of Rainsford Lane, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Andrews Place to its other junction with Andrews Place.

2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction on that length of Andrews Place, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Rainsford Lane for a distance of approximately 200m in a north westerly then south westerly direction.

“The Essex County Council (Chelmsford City) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The clearways are scheduled to commence on 26th September 2026 for 95 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP40093609030 & EP40001147863 – Hill Group). (South Hanningfield Road, South Hanningfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of South Hanningfield Road, South Hanningfield in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 320m north east of its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 290m in a north easterly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02279047316 – GTM). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by GTM.

An alternative route is available via South Hanningfield Road, Main Road, Southend Road, West Hanningfield Road, Church Road, Middlemead, South Hanningfield Road and vice versa.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sporhams Lane, Sandon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 50m south west of its junction with Woodhill Common Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WGNP5T0N – Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of Swiss Avenue, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Kings Road for a distance of approximately 105m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Park Avenue, Chelmsford in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Swiss Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st September 2026 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001520489 & AZ5011001520513 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Vange Bypass, Vange (including onslips) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

1. To temporarily close that length of Vange Bypass, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Five Bells Slip Road to Southend Road to the junction with the off slips at Pitsea Flyover a distance of approximately 2795m (both directions).

2. To temporarily close that length of the Five Bells Slip Road to Southend Road, (eastbound) to the point where it joins the A13, a distance of approximately 36m.

3. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea bypass on-slip from Broadway Link Roundabout to A13 (Westbound) a distance of approximately 220m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 25th September 2026 for 1 night (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2012410068 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
