Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Co-op Lane, Old Road, Woodhead Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday, 27 September 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Lane/Grange Lane, Kirkburton from Grange Lane to junction with Greenside Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Wooldale Road - from its junction with Orchard Place to its junction with Pell Lane
Pell Lane - from its junction with Little Lane to its junction with Town End Road
