What is happening?
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) - One Way Traffic Working System, Temporary Banned Left Turn And Banned Right Turn Limes Avenue/ Golders Green Road, NW11
THE BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL Hereby Give Notice that owing to the need to facilitate the construction of a temporary building they have made an Order which will make Limes Avenue into one way, NW11 at the junction of Golders Green Road, NW11.
The works will commence immediately on Thursday 17th September 2026 at 8:00am and is expected to last 44 days.
Access will be always maintained for residents via: The Drive, NW11.
A Temporary Diversion Route Will Be In Place:
Northbound – vehicles on Golders Green Road will be prohibited from turning left into Limes Avenue.
Southbound – Golders Green Road vehicles will be prohibited from turning right into Limes Avenue.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
