TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

Oxfordshire County Council intends to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

This Order follows the Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice previously issued under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Reference 88). The restriction remains necessary to allow the works to continue and this Order continues the temporary restriction under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Nature of Restriction: Road Closure

Location: Spencer Avenue, Yarnton, Oxfordshire

Description of Works: Road closure to facilitate Microsurfacing works being carried out by M Limited on behalf of OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL.

TTRO reference: 88

Duration: Starting on 23/09/2026 09:30

The anticipated completion date is 26/09/2026 15:30

(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).

Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.

Suggested Alternative Route: The Garth, Rutten Lane, Merton Way and vice versa.

Description of Works: Road closure to facilitate Microsurfacing works being carried out by M Group Highways Limited on behalf of OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL.

Duration: Starting on 15/09/2026 08:00

The anticipated completion date is 19/09/2026 16:00

(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).

Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.

Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order as detailed below:

Nature of Restriction: Road Closure

Location: Marsh Close, Yarnton, Oxfordshire.

For its full extent

Description of Works: Bobcat Patching carriageway and relining works after patching being carried out by M Group Ltd.

TTRO reference: 508

Duration: Starting on 17/11/2026 09:00

The anticipated completion date is 18/11/2026 16:00

(inclusive) Works will be carried out between the hours of 09:00-16:00

Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
