GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400662 JUNCTION THROUGH CHURCH WESTCOTE TO COUNTY BOUNDARY (WESTCOTE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400662 Road junction, through Church Westcote to the County Boundary, from outside of the property known as ‘Long View’ to outside of the property known as ‘Fox Hollow’ for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Thames Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 14th September 2026 until 17th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400583 THE DINGLE UPPER SLAUGHTER TO COPSE HILL LOWER SLAUGHTER (UPPER SLAUGHTER PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400583 Road from The Dingle Upper Slaughter to Copse Hill Lower Slaughter from its junction with The Bridges to its junction with Copse Hill for a distance of approximately 125 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works by Thames Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 14th September 2026 until 16th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400501 CHURCH STREET (WILLERSLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400501 Church Street Road from the War Memorial to the end of the street, for a distance of approximately 22 metres.

The reason for the closure is for water pipe repair works.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on 28th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained due to safety reasons as there is no footway available.
