Friern Barnet - Temporary Road Closure Due To Sewer Repair Works

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) - Temporary Road Closure Friern Mount Drive N20
THE BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate sewer repair works, they intend to make an Order which will close Friern Mount Drive, N20 between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 62 and 64 Friern Mount Drive and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 70 and 72 Friern Mount Drive, while the works take place.
The works will commence on Wednesday 23rd September 2026 between 10:00pm and 5:00am and is expected to last for 1 night.
If the works are unable to take place on the date mentioned above, then the works will commence on Monday 28th September 2026 and is expected to last for 1 night.
The alternative route for motorists will be via: Friern Mount Drive, Langton Avenue, Buckingham Avenue and vice versa.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
