Proposed Order: To close that part of U52305 Cavendish St from its junction with U52306 Berwick St to its junction with U52303 Orchard St.

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.

Alternative route: U52306 Berwick St, U52300 Waverley St, U52303 Orchard St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 October 2026.

(U62004 Pixham, Callow End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U62004 Pixham from its junction with U62005 Lower Ferry Ln for a distance of 160 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Installation of new ducting by Openreach.

Alternative route: no diversion as location is a dead end.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 5 October 2026.

(Link Footpath F50196 Lark Hill, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50196 Lark Hill from its junction with U52333 Lark Hill Rd to its junction with U52031 Liverpool Rd.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U52031 Liverpool Rd, U52035 Prestwich Ave, U52036 Devon Rd, U52037 Redfern Ave, U52037 Silverdale Ave, Link Footpath F50195 Silverdale Ave – London Rd, A44 London Rd, U52333 Lark Hill Rd and vice versa.

(C2290 Wylds Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2290 Wylds Ln from its junction with U52324 Cole Hill to its junction with U53010 Dent Cl.

Reason: Remedial work to rectify defect in carriageway by STW.

Alternative route: A44 London Rd, B4205 Wylds Ln, C2290 Wylds Ln (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 4 October 2026.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 6 October 2026 and 19 October 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U43427 Windmill Ln from its junction with U43435 Bredon Cl for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: New customer connection by Cadent.

Alternative route: U43412 Stockwood Ln, A422 High St, U43426 Stonepit Ln, U43427 Greenscroft Way and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2236 Wichenford from its junction with C2068 Wichenford for a distance of 500 metres in a southerly direction.

Order made: To close that part of 1) B4550 Bilford Rd Roundabout B4550 in its entirety. 2) B4550 Blackpole Rd from its junction with U51239 Mansons for a distance of 222 metres in a northerly direction (until the Lidl Island). 3) U51200 Windermere Dr from its junction with B4550 Bilford Rd Roundabout for a distance of 89 metres in an easterly direction. 4) U51050 Bilford Rd from its junction with B4550 Bilford Rd Roundabout for a distance of 153 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of U50000 The Moors from a point 55 metres north of its junction with U50007 Britannia Square for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U50006 Back Ln North, U50007 Britannia Square, U50000 The Moors (part) and vice versa.

(A449 Ombersley Road, Hawford) (Northbound Closure Only) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of A449 Ombersley Rd from its junction with A449 Claines Roundabout to its junction with A449 Ombersley Road Slip Off.

Reason: Pre surface dressing patching by WCC.

Alternative route: Northbound Diversion – A449 Worcester Northern Link, A4538 Pershore Ln, A38 Droitwich Rd, A38 Worcester Rd, A38 Roman Rd, A4133 Ombersley Rd, A4133 Droitwich Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00-06:00) between 11 September 2026 and 24 September 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath MT-698, Martley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 13 March 2026 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath MT-698, Martley from its south westerly corner of the field north of Martley Countryside Burial Ground (Grid Ref: 374904 259447) to its junction with B4197 (Grid Ref: 375083 259704) which was due to expire on 13 September 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 13 March 2028 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made due to a housing development.

Alternative route: There will be a permissive route signed.

(A44 Bromyard Road, Crown East) (Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of A44 Bromyard Rd from a point 140 metres east of its junction with C2066 Crown East to its junction with and including the entire A4440 Roundabout.

Reason: New development works by M&J Evans Construction on behalf of Redrow Homes.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 117 days (24hrs). Commencing: 5 October 2026.

(B4203 and C2228 Stanford Bridge, Malvern Hills District)

(40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

On 27 August 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to update the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Stanford Bridge to 40 miles per hour:

B4203: From a point 535 metres northwest of its junction with C2026 in a south easterly then easterly direction to a point 240 metres east of its junction with C2228.

C2228: From its junction with B4203 for a distance of 330 metres in a southerly direction.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 17 September 2026.
