Sandy Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Order

NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(SANDY LANE, WOODPLUMPTON, PRESTON CITY) (ROAD HUMPS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County Council propose the following:

1. Introduce a road hump in Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from a point 55 metres north of the intersection of the centreline of Angus Avenue for a distance of 7 metres in a northerly direction. The road hump will have a maximum height of 75mm.
2. Introduce a junction table in the following lengths of road:
a) Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Bartle Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a northerly direction;
b) Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Bartle Lane for a distance of 16 metres in a southerly direction;
c) Bartle Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Sandy Lane for a distance of 13.5 metres in a westerly direction;
d) Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Petunia Way for a distance of 13.5 metres in a north westerly direction;
e) Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Petunia Way for a distance of 15.5 metres in a south easterly direction;
f) Petunia Way, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Sandy Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a north easterly direction;
g) Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Angus Avenue for a distance of 14.5 metres in a northerly direction;
h) Sandy Lane, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Petunia Way for a distance of 14.5 metres in a southerly direction;
i) Angus Avenue, Woodplumpton, from the intersection of the centreline of Sandy Lane for adistance of 14 metres in an easterly direction.
The junction tables will have a maximum height of 75mm.
