LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS LOCATIONS, COLNE, PENDLE BOROUGH) (VARIOUS MOVING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 202*





NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:

1. Introduce a prohibition of left turn in the following lengths of road:
a) Brown Street West, Colne, eastbound vehicles on Brown Street West
prohibited from turning left into Lord Street;
b) Lord Street, Colne, southbound vehicles on Lord Street prohibited from
turning left into Brown Street West;
c) Princess Street, Colne, northbound vehicles on Princess Street prohibited from
turning left into North Valley Road.
2. Introduce a prohibition of right turn in Brown Street West, Colne, westbound
vehicles on Brown Street West prohibited from turning right into Lord Street.
3. Introduce one way traffic in the following lengths of road:
a) Brown Street West, Colne, eastbound vehicles on Brown Street West prohibited
from turning left into Lord Street;
b) Fothergill Street, Colne, entire length from its junction with Cragg Street to its
junction with North Valley Road, south to north;
c) North Valley Road, Colne, from its junction with Queen Street to its junction
with Lord Street, south west to north east;
d) Parsonage Street, Colne, entire length from its junction with Albert Road to its
junction with Brown Street West, south to north.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Pendle Borough Council, No1 Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 9LU and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
