• St James’s Park, Lansdown, Bath from a point outside 42 St James’s Park extending south west to its junction with Park Street Mews. USRN: 47901311. Works at this location are anticipated to take place between 28th September-9th October 2026.
• Great Bedford Street, Lansdown, Bath at its junction with Park Street Mews. USRN: 47900619. Works at this location are anticipated to take place between 28th September-9th October 2026.
• Park Street Mews, Lansdown, Bath at its junction with Great Bedford Street/St James’s Park. USRN: 47901215. Works at this location are anticipated to take place between 28th September-9th October 2026.
• Park Place, Lansdown, Bath from its junction with Park Street extending west for approximately 20 metres. USRN: 47901213. Works at this location are anticipated to take place between 5th October-16th October 2026.
• Park Street, Lansdown, Bath from a point outside 35 Park Street extending south to a point outside 38 Park Street. USRN: 47901214. Works at this location are anticipated to take place between 5th October-16th October 2026.
• Park Street Mews, Lansdown, Bath from its junction with Park Street extending east for approximately 20 metres. USRN: 47901215. Works at this location are anticipated to take place between 5th October-16th October 2026.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main upgrade works from the 28th September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

The road will not be closed continually, only for occasional short periods of time when construction-related loading or unloading activity is taking place.
• a road closure/footpath closure in that length of Parsonage Lane, City Centre Bath for its entire length. USRN: 47913582. The road is anticipated to be closed between 10:00-18:00hrs, however times may be adjusted or modified if/when required.
• Suspension of the existing loading bay on Avon Street (near the junction with Corn Street/Riverside Coach Park), to be replaced for the duration of the Order by a temporary 30-minute waiting bay operating at all times for use by goods vehicles and construction vehicles only.
• The bollards will be removed at the junction of Westgate Buildings/Saw Close in order to allow access into Saw Close from Westgate Buildings for authorised construction-related heavy commercial vehicles access only, plus police, fire and ambulance service vehicles as and when required. Emergency Services access needs to be maintained at the Cheap Street access under the current arrangements.
