What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The title and affect of the Orders will be as follows, City Of
Manchester (Princedom Street And Ashley Lane, Moston, Manchester) (Prohibition Of Waiting, Loading/Unloading And Amendment) Order 2026

Proposed No Waiting At Any Time on: Ashley Ln - the east side from a point 7 metres south east of its junction with Princedom Street in a north westerly direction to a point 3 metres north west of its junction with Princedom Street. Campus Cl - the north-west side from a point 65 metres north east of the eastern kerbline of Ashley Lane in a north easterly and then north westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres. the south-east side from a point 65 metres north east of the eastern kerbline of Ashley Lane in a north easterly and then south easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres. Princedom St - both sides from its junction with Ashley Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of 41 metres. 

Proposed No Loading At Any Time on: Ashley Lane - the east side from a point 7 metres south east of its junction with Princedom Street in a north westerly direction to a point 3 metres north west of its junction with Princedom Street. Campus Close - the north-west side from a point 65 metres north east of the eastern kerbline of Ashley Lane in a north easterly and then north westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres. the south-east side from a point 65 metres north east of the eastern kerbline of Ashley Lane in a north easterly and then south easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres. Princedom Street - both sides from its junction with Ashley Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of 5 metres. 

City Of Manchester (Princedom Street And Campus Close, Manchester) (20 MPH Speed Limit Zone) Order 2026
The effect of the Order will be to introduce 20 MPH on the following lengths of road: Princedom St - from its junction with Ashley Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of 41 metres. 

Campus Cl - for its entire length. Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals. 

Copies of the proposed Order together with the plans showing the proposals may be inspected at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive. Please ensure that the Contact Centre is open before attending. 

If it is closed or you are unable to attend, a copy of the plan may be requested (without payment) by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or writing to the address at the end of this notice. 

Objections to the proposals must be sent to me in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 1st October 2026.
