The East Sussex (U6321 Pottery Close, Brede)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Pottery Close – for its full extent.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible. The Order commences 7 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 11 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U6742 Mayo Lane, Bexhill)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Mayo Lane – from the junction with C345 Watermill Lane to the junction with A269 Ninfield Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C345 Watermill Lane – A269 Ninfield Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 7 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 9 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
George Street – from the junction with U3206 Market Passage to the junction with U3206 Albion Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible. The Order commences 7 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 11 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow Steadline Ltd to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Mermaid Street – from the junction with U6437 The Mint to the junction with U6438 West Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U6438 West Street – U6437 The Mint.
The Order commences 7 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 11 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

Hatherley Road – from the junction with A2102 London Road to the junction with U3146 Alexandra Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U3146 Alexandra Road – A2102 London Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 7 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 7 and 11 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

Sandhurst Lane/Whydown Road – from the junction with U6207 Coneyburrow Lane to the junction with C703 Peartree Lane. A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U6208 Sandhurst Lane – A259 (T) Barnhorn Road – A259 Little Common Roundabout – C703 Peartree Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 10 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 10 and 11 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commences 22 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 22 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U3065 Theaklen Drive, Ponswood Road – C664 Sedlescombe Road South – B2159 Battle Road and vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Church Road – from the junction with U3160 St Margarets Road to the junction with U3158 Edward Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U3158 Edward Road – U3159 Magdalen Road – U3160 St Margarets Road and vice versa or via U3157 Church Road – U3158 St Johns Road – U3159 Magdalen Road – U3160 St Margarets Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 21 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 21 and 25 September 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U3214 All Saints Street/U3211 Courthouse Street, Hastings)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
To allow SGN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following lengths of road;
Temporary Road Closures
All Saints Street – from the junction with U3214 Harold Road to the junction with U3212 Rock-A-Nore Road.
Diversion via U3212 Rock-A-Nore Road – A259 East Beach Street, The Bourne – U3214 Harold Road and vice versa.
Courthouse Street – from the junction with U3214 All Saints Street to the junction with A259 The Bourne.
Diversion via A259 The Bourne – U3214 Harold Road, All Saints Street. To maintain access a suspension of one-way traffic on All Saints Street will be in place (revert to two-way traffic), during this scheme of works.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic set out above.
The Order commences 21 September 2026 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 21 September and 16 November 2026 depending upon the weather conditions.
