TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TR08842 – Cuddington Lane in Cuddington
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Cuddington to enable excavation to install 191m of 96mm duct in the verge to connect to the existing BT network, works to be carried out by BT.
CUDDINGTON LANE: OPP MILL HOUSE TO R/O NO.12 BALMORAL CLOSE
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 14/09/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 11 days to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Cuddington Lane, Norley Road, Warrington Road.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TR08845 – Sadlers Lane In Tarporley
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in TARPORLEY to enable excavation to facilitate water upgrading works to be carried out by United Utilities Water Ltd.
SADLERS LANE: Junction of Stable Lane towards sadlers House
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.
The Order will come into force on 17/09/2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 22 weeks to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic – Traffic should proceed via: Sadlers Lane, Tarporley Road, Stable Lane.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
TR023957 – Delamere Road, Norley Road and Top Road in Northwich
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in NORTHWICH to enable Carriageway surfacing & lining works carried out by UE500 – Colas Ltd (CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER COUNCIL).
DELAMERE ROAD, NORLEY ROAD, TOP ROAD: ROADS CLOSED 09:30 - 19:00hrs at the crossroads with Guests Slack.

Guests Slack – Norley Road, Hollow Lane, Mill Lane, Station Road, West Road, A49 Weaverham Bypass, Warrington Road, Forest Road, A556 Chester Road, B5152 Station Road, Delamere Road and vice versa.
