Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CONVENT CLOSE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to lay new ducting.

Order Commences: 8 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

ST JOHNS AVENUE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to install boundary box and water meter.

Order Commences: 7 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 8 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

BULLIMORE GROVE, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to rebuild a stoptap chamber.

Order Commences: 8 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

FINWOOD ROAD, ROWINGTON

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to install new telegraph pole to provide new service.

Order Commences: 7 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 7 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Finwood Road, Old Warwick Road, Shrewley Common, Back Lane, Narrow Lane, New Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D5273 HAMPTON ROAD & C138 OLD SCHOOL LANE, BUDBROOKE

Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Old School Lane closed between its junction with Hampton Road and the A4189 Henley Road – 21 September 2026, Hampton Road closed between its junction with Old School Lane and the A4189 Henley Road – 22 September 2026.

Reason for Order: Installation of speed limit signs, road marking and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 21 September 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 22 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Old School Lane diversion – Hampton Road, A4189 Henley Road and vice versa. Hampton Road diversion – Old School Lane, A4189 Henley Road and vice versa

D70750 CASTLE GREEN, KENILWORTH

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Scaffolding works to be sited for building repairs.

Order Commences: 21 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 5 October 2026.

Access & Diversion: D70750 Castle Green, B41030 Clinton Lane, D70750 Castle Green.

Residents access will be maintained either side of the road closure.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 90G PROPOSED GIVE-WAY PRIORITY BUILD-OUTS, RUGBY ROAD, WESTON UNDER WETHERLEY, WARWICKSHIRE

Warwickshire County Council is proposing to install two give way priority build-outs, pursuant to S90G of the Highways Act 1980, on Rugby Road, Weston under Wetherley, located as described in further detail in the Schedule below.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to:

•   install a shared use cycle track, with rights of ways for pedestrians, on the lengths of road described in schedule 1 below;

•   install a road hump (raised table) with a priority crossing for pedestrians and cyclists on the lengths of road described in schedule 2 below; and

•   remove two existing speed cushions and install a road hump (raised table) with a parallel crossing (for pedestrians and cyclists) crossing over it, as described in further detail in the Schedule 3 below. A copy of this notice, a plan showing the lengths of roads affected which includes the location of the above proposals, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for the proposals may be inspected at Shire Hall Market, Place, Warwick and on the Warwickshire County Council website

(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS,

ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION NO. EV1) (PART) ORDER 2026

Warwickshire County Council has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On-Street Parking Places and Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedule 1 below. The proposals described in Schedule 2 below have been withdrawn. The Order will commence on 7th September 2026. Exceptions to any waiting restrictions described in Schedule 1 below will permit waiting for the purposes of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas, water or electricity.

A copy of the Order, together with a copy of the Order to be varied, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, are available to view at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
