What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders and will commence when the appropriate signs are erected. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

BARKESTONE LANE, BOTTESFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 20/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 2 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake repairs to defective iron work in the carriageway.

The Order will come into force on 20/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 2 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake repairs to defective iron work in the carriageway.

The Order will come into force on 16/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 20 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway surface repair works. The diversion routes will be signed on site.

ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 15/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 3 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT Openreach to undertake telegraph pole replacement works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Klondyke Ln, Thorpe Satchville; From Ashby Folville Rd To Pasture Ln, Ashby Foville Rd, Station Rd, Top End, Great Dalby; B6047 & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 15/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 4 days to allow Network Rail to undertake rail track maintenance work. The proposed diversion route will be via: High St, Belvoir Rd, Bottesford; A52, Station Rd, Bottesford Ln, Orston & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 14/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 3 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake the construction of a vehicle access in the highway. The proposed diversion route will be via: School Hill, Church Ln, Stow Hill, Buckminster Rd, Main St & vice versa.

SEWSTERN LANE, WYMONDHAM

ORDER 2026

The Order will come into force on 14/09/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works may last for up to 5 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT Openreach to undertake joint box frame & cover renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Sewstern Ln, From B676 To Butt Ln, Butt Ln, Main St, Wymondham & vice versa.

Sewstern Ln, Wymondham from the Jct of the road named From B676 to Butt Ln due East up to the access into Mount Pleasant Farm.
