Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Agden Ln, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Agden Ln from its jct. with Warrington Ln to the Borough Boundary with Cheshire East. The Order will be effective from 21st September 2026 for 1 day. The alternative route will be via A56, Warrington Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach to replace a telecom pole.

Bruche Ave, Greenway, Lambs Ln & Grosvenor Rd, Winwick (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Bruche Ave from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Fir Gr; Greenway from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Royston Ave; Lambs Ln from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Parkdale Ave; Grosvenor Ave from its jct. with Manchester Rd to its jct. with Egerton Ave. The Order will be effective from 5th October 2026 for 6 weeks, with the works being carried out in phases so only one road closure in place at any one time. The alternative routes will be as follows: Bruche Ave via Manchester Rd, Holes Ln, Green Ln, Padgate Ln & vice versa & via Manchester Rd, King Edward St, Padgate Ln & vice versa; Greenway via Lambs Ln, Royston Ave & vice versa; Lambs Ln via Greenway, Royston Ave & vice versa; Grosvenor Ave via Manchester Rd, Queens Ave, Egerton St & vice versa. The restrictions are required to allow Cadent gas to carry out mains replacement works.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Pineways from its jct. with Beechways to outside property number 68. The Order will be effective from 30th September 2026 for 3 days. The alternative route will be via Dudlow Green Rd, Beechways & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for Openreach to install a new service connection.

The Order will be effective from 21st September 2026 for 12 weeks & will be carried out in phases as follows: Phase 1: Waterworks Ln 21st September 2026 to 23rd October 2026; Phase 2: Myddleton Ln 23rd October 2026 to 1st November 2026; Phase 3: Waterworks Ln 2nd November 2026 to 13th December 2026. The restrictions are required to facilitate The Warrington Running Festival.

Mill Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 16th July 2026. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Mill Ln from its jct. with Ballater Dr to its jct. with Delph Ln. The Order was effective from 20th July 2026 for 7 weeks, however due to unforeseen circumstances on site the works are extended for 1 week. The alternative route & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised.

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 6) (Part 1) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 8th September 2026. The effect of the Order is as follows:-

1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2025, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Chapel Ln, Burtonwood (South Side) – From a point 125m south east of its jct. with Milnthorpe Rd in an easterly direction for a distance of 33m.

(b) In the 77th Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Chapel Ln, Burtonwood (South Side) – From a point 125m south east of its jct. with Milnthorpe Rd in an easterly direction for a distance of 33m.

In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Local Authorities Traffic Regulation Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 the Council has deferred part of the order proposed in the Notice dated 21st August 2025 & is making the Order in part as detailed in this Notice. The Order will be effective from 10th September 2026 & may be cited as “The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 6) (Part 1) Order 2026”.
