Basingstoke & Deane - Temporary Road Closures due to Openreach Connection Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE–
VARIOUS ROADS, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Hackwood Lane between its junction with Dickens Lane and its junction with Village Road
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Huish Lane between its junction with Huish and its junction with Hackwood Lane
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Down Farm Lane between its junction with Hackwood Lane and its junction with Tunworth Road
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Village Road between its junction with Hackwood Lane and its junction with Winslade Farm Lane
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hackwood Lane, Basingstoke Road, Church Street, Weston Road, Alton Road, Hackwood Road, Ringway South, A339 J A30 Black Dam, London Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 25th September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 days, working between 19:00-05:00)
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out connection works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk
Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
