(Crawley: Woodfield Road) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Woodfield Road between Northgate Avenue and Lockwood Court. 

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst new gas mains are laid.

The Order will come into effect on 14 September 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 14 September 2026 and be completed by 23 October 2026.

Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to SGN telephone number 0800 912 1700. Any queries about the effect of the Order on vehicles using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105

Notice of Variation: On-Street Parking Charges 2026 Crawley Borough

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC in exercise of its powers under Section 46A Road Traffic

Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 25 of the Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure)

(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 proposes to vary the Charges and Tariffs detailed in the WSCC (Crawley Borough) (Parking Places and Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2010, (as amended).

Permit charges in the Crawley Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) will be increased as follows:
