THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No’s. 2/1, 2/2 & 3/1 Parish of Stewkley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 2/1, 2/2 & 3/1 from the junction of STE/1/1, STE/1/2 & STE/3/1 and continuing south east to the junction of STE/2/2 & STE/2/1 and continuing along both STE/2/2 and STE/2/1 for the entire length. The closure is required due to a failed bridge. The Order will come into operation on 18 September 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
