THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle to proceed along that part of Alexandra Road from the northern boundary of No. 52 Alexandra Road southward to the northern boundary of No. 60 Alexandra Road.
The diversion for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Alexandra Road, Grove Road, B3022 Frances Road and Alexandra Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works, namely carriageway repairs, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will be in operation between 08:00 hours and 17:00 hours on Monday 28 September 2026.
The prohibition will be in operation when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
