ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT1984

Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order on 07/09/2026, as detailed below:

Nature of Restriction: Road Closure
Location: Market Place, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire From the junction with Duke Street to outside property 27-31.
Description of Works: New connection being carried out by NETWORK PLUS. TTRO reference: 466

Duration: Starting on 16/09/2026 19:00
The anticipated completion date is 17/10/2026 06:30 (inclusive)

Works will be carried out between the hours of 19:00-06:30.(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via Bell Street. Kings Road, Market Place (one way)

Description of Works: Pole replacement being carried out by BARR Engineering Services LTD.TTRO reference: 358
Duration: Starting on 22/10/2026 00:00
The anticipated completion date is 22/10/2026 23:59 (inclusive)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable.
Suggested Alternative Route: Diversion via Fawley Bottom Lane, Church Lane, Dobsons Lane, B480, Fawley Bottom Lane and vice versa.
