RAISED ROAD HUMPS – BAKER LANE, STANLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Council of the City of Wakefield, in exercise of powers conferred by Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980, propose to remove and introduce traffic calming measures along Baker Lane, Stanley, Wakefield.
These proposals are part of a programmed carriageway resurfacing scheme whereby the existing road hump and the 7 sets of speed cushions will be removed and replaced with road hump installations at the following locations along Baker Lane, Stanley:
i. Baker Lane, 40 metres southeast from the junction of Canal Lane
ii. Baker Lane, outside properties no 15/15a iii. Baker Lane, 90 metres southeast from the junction of Anaheim Drive
iv. Baker Lane, outside property no 83
v. Baker Lane, outside properties no 103/105 vi. Baker Lane, outside properties no 133/135 The Road Hump will be an elevated section of carriageway, 4.3 metres in length (featuring a 2.5 metre long plateau with 0.9 metre long approach ramps) with a height of 65mm above the existing carriageway level.
