(Westfield Road) (Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation) Order 2026 – TEMP/26/134
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for timber bridge deck replacement works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of Westfield rd from the extended west kerbline of Roseburn St, south-westwards for 146m. Existing parking restrictions may be suspended on the affected sections of roads described. The alternative route for vehicular traffic with respect to the closure will be by way of: (i) eastbound traffic – Westfield Rd, Stevenson Rd, Balgreen Rd, Stevenson Dr,BStenhouse Dr, Broomhouse Dr, Broomhouse Rd, Meadow Pl Rd, St. John’s Rd, Corstorphine Rd (Western Ter), Roseburn Ter and Roseburn St; and (ii) Westbound traffic – West Approach Rd, Lothian Rd, Fountainbridge, Dundee St, Henderson Ter, Gorgie Rd, Balgreen Rd, Stevenson Rd and Westfield Rd. The Order shall have effect from 08/09/26 to 18/09/26.
