(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C117 Paxton North Mains, Paxton) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 7 September 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 11 September 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C117 at Paxton North Mains, Paxton. The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the C117, B6460 and C117 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 9 September 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 15 September 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C117 and the D81/6 at Paxton.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C117, B6460, B6461 and C117 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. Local access to D81/6 closure shall be made available with minor delays.
