(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER (NO. 2) 2026
On 8 September 2026 the East Dunbartonshire Council, made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to be observed by vehicles between 06.00 hours on Monday, 21 September 2026 and remain in operation until 23.59 hours on Monday, 28 September 2026, by reason of works to be carried out.
ROAD CLOSURE
Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs will be closed between the vehicular access road to Mavis Valley Recycling Centre and the vehicular exit road to Hilton Depot, Bishopbriggs. Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties or land adjacent to the closed section of road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
The alternative routes for vehicles are by way of Balmuildy Road, Hilton Road, the A803 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, the A807 Torrance Road and Balmore Road and the A879 Balmore Road and these routes will be sign posted.
