TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – TRELAWN ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable water main replacement works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth has made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:
(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding, or waiting, including waiting for the purposes of loading or unloading in the length of Trelawn Road which lies between its junctions with Effra Road and Morval Road;
(b) suspend the one-way traffic system in the length of Trelawn Road that lies between its junctions with Effra Road and Morval Road.
2. The alternative route for affected vehicles will be available via Morval Road, Barnwell Road, Dalberg Road, Mervan Road and Effra Road.
3. The Order will come into force on 14 September 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 3 months, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works will take 6 weeks to complete.
