The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.36) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of the unnamed footpath connecting Mayflower Avenue and Ryall Avenue at South Ordsall, in the City of Salford. This is to enable development as permitted by Salford City Council under reference PA/2025/0235.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO5599412). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Ordsall Neighbourhood Centre, 2 Robert Hall Street, Salford M5 3LT.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 14 September 2026.
