(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Heath Road in Haywards Heath from The Broadway to the entrance to Haywards Heath Health Centre. The road closure is needed to allow new watermains to be installed in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 7 September 2026 and remain in force until 2 October 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which will be to:-
(i) prohibit vehicles travelling eastbound on the A264 Crawley Road from making a right turn at the Kilnwood Vale roundabout junction; and
(ii) prohibit vehicles from driving at a speed of more than 40mph on a section of the A264 Crawley Road (Westbound) between Horsham Road Roundabout and a point 400 metres west of the Crawley Road Roundabout.
The Order is necessary to facilitate safe access and egress for the event traffic whilst maintaining through traffic flows on the A264.
The Order will be operative from 0400 hours on 19 September 2026 until 2000 hours on 20 September 2026.
