(WEDMORE VALE, BEDMINSTER, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Wedmore Vale which extends from Wingfield Road to the common boundary line of No.75 and No.77 Wedmore Vale.
The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 28th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 9.15 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. daily from 28th September 2026 and 3rd October 2026).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wedmore Vale (part unaffected), St. Johns Lane, Redcatch Road, Axbridge Road, Broad Walk, Daventry Road, Wedmore Vale (part unaffected) and vice versa
