Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Ar gau ar 13/09/2026 a 20/09/2026 rhwng 08:00 a 16:00. Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn cynnwys newid dros dro i lif y traffig ar hyd y rhan o Stryd y Bont o’i chyffordd â Lôn Ysbyty Gray a’i chyffordd â Stryd y Felin. Hefyd, y newid dros dro i lif y traffig ar hyd y rhan o Stryd y Frenhines o rif 31 i’w chyffordd â’r Ffynnon Haearn. Trowch i’r dde i’r C1046 a theithiwch hyd at y gyffordd â’r B4343 yn Ysbyty Ystwyth. Trowch i’r dde i’r B4343 a theithiwch i’r gogledd hyd at y gyffordd â’r U1352. Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu, heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o 14/09/2026, wneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Rhodfa Newydd, Aberystwyth) (Gwahardd Traffig Trwodd Dros Dro) 2026 er mwyn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y briffordd honno. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Ar gau 24 awr bob dydd. 
Tua’r dwyrain - Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain o fan i’r gorllewin o’r ffordd sydd ar gau yw teithio ar hyd Rhodfa Newydd, gan barhau i Dan-y-Cae a’r Stryd Uchel, i’r gyffordd â Lôn Rhosmari. Trowch i’r dde i Lôn Rhosmari a theithiwch i’r gyffordd â Stryd y Bont. Trowch i’r chwith i Stryd y Bont a theithiwch i’r gyffordd â Heol y Wig. Cedwir y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy’r amser. Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad y gorllewin fydd teithio tua’r gogledd o Soar y Mynydd, i’w chyffordd â’r C1240. Troi i’r chwith i’r C1240 a theithio i’r gorllewin i’w chyffordd â’r B4343 yn Nhregaron. Troi i’r chwith i’r B4343 a theithio i’r de i’w chyffordd â’r U1516 yn Llanddewi Brefi. Troi i’r chwith a chwith eto i’r U1516 a theithio i’r dwyrain i bwynt y cau / y lôn werdd; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 20 milltir. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Ar gau 24 awr y dydd. Y ffordd arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i gyfeiriad y de o bwynt i’r gogledd o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd yw teithio ar hyd Heol Llanfair i’r gyffordd â’r U5264. Trowch i’r dde i’r U5264 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r C1150. Trowch i’r dde i’r C1150 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â’r B4459 yng Nghapel Dewi. Trowch i’r dde i’r B4459 gan deithio i’r gyffordd â Heol Llanfair hyd y pwynt i’r de o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd; ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Mae’r ffordd arall tua 3.9 milltir. Cafodd y Gorchymyn ei roi ar waith ar 05/10/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes y bydd y gwaith o gynnal y briffordd wedi’i gwblhau ymhen tua 4 wythnos. Gall y Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.
Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Llwybrau Cyhoeddus 12/14 Llanbadarn) (Gwahardd Traffig Drwodd Dros Dro) 2026, heb fod yn llai na saith niwrnod o 16/09/2026, gan wahardd pob cerddwyr rhag mynd ar hyd y darn o hawliau tramwy cyhoeddus a adwaenir fel: Llwybrau Cyhoeddus 12/14, Llanbadarn; rhwng Canolfan Filfeddygol Prifysgol Aberystwyth a priffyrdd Cefn Llan. Nid oes ffordd amgen. Mae angen y gorchymyn arfaethedig i sicrhau diogelwch y cyhoedd tra bod gwaith uwchraddio’r llwybr yn digwydd. Bwriedir i’r gwaith ddechrau ar 30/09/2026 a parhau mewn grym am y cyfnod mwyafswm o chwe mis; gellir ymestyn hyn drwy wneud cais i Lywodraeth Cymru.

Ceredigion County Council
NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (Elysian Grove and Cae Melyn, Penglais, Aberystwyth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained at all times. There is no alternative route. The Order will continue in force until resurfacing works are completed in approximately 1 week. The Order was implemented on the 14/09/2026 and may continue in force for 18 months.
NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (Princess Street, Queen Street and Grays Inn Road, Aberystwyth) Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. Closures on 13/09/2026 and 20/09/2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00. This Order includes the temporary change to the traffic flow along the section of Bridge Street from its junction with Gray’s Inn Road and its junction with Mill Street. Also, the temporary change to the traffic flow along the section of Queen Street from number 31 to its junction with Chalybeate Street. These will become two-way for the duration of the closures. The alternative route for northbound traffic from a point south of the closure on Bridge Street is to travel along Mill Street to the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Alexandra Road and travel to its junction with Terrace Road. Turn left onto Terrace Road, continuing onto North Parade and to a point northeast of the closure. A total distance of approximately 0.3 miles. The alternative route for eastbound traffic from a point west of the closure on Princess Street it to travel along Castle Street to its junction with King Street. Turn left onto King Street and travel to its junction with New Promenade. Turn right onto New Promenade, continuing onto Marine Terrace, and travel to its junction with Terrace Road. Turn right onto Terrace Road, continuing onto North Parade and to a point east of the closure. A total distance of approximately 0.7 miles.The Order was implemented on 13/09/2026 and will remain in place until works to clear blockages by BT Openreach has been completed in approximately 8 days. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (U1352 Pontrhydygroes, Ystrad Meurig) Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. The alternative route for south-westbound traffic from a point north-east of the closure is to travel along U1352 to its junction with C1046. Turn right onto C1046 and travel to its junction with B4343 at Ysbyty Ystwyth. Turn right onto B4343 and travel north to its junction with the U1352. Turn right onto the U1352 and travel to a point south-west of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 2¼ miles. The Order was implemented on 16/09/2026 and will remain in place whilst renewal of existing water mains is completed in approximately 8 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 14/09/2026 to make the Ceredigion County Council (New Promenade, Aberystwyth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. Closed 24 hours daily. 
Eastbound - The alternative route for eastbound traffic from a point west of the closure is to travel along New Promenade, continuing onto South Road and High Street, to its junction with Princess Street. Turn right onto Princess Street and travel to its junction with Bridge Street. Turn left onto Bridge Street and travel to its junction with Pier Street. Turn left onto Pier Street and travel to its junction with Marine Terrace and a point east of road closure. A total distance of approximately 0.7 miles. 
Westbound - The alternative route for westbound traffic from a point east of the closure is to travel along Marine Terrace to its junction with Terrace Road. Turn right onto Terrace Road and travel to its junction with North Parade. Turn left onto North Parade and travel to its junction with Thespian Street. Turn right onto Thespian Street and continue onto Alexandra Road. Travel along Alexandra Road taking the second exit at each of the two roundabouts before continuing onto Mill Street. Travel along Mill Street to its junction with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street, then turn immediately left onto South Road and travel to its junction with South Marine Terrace and New Promenade. Turn right onto New Promenade and travel to a point west of the closure. A total distance of approximately 1.3 miles. 
It is intended that the Order will come into force on 05/10/2026 and will remain in place until drainage improvement works are completed – approximately 4 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 15/09/2026, to make the Ceredigion County Council (U1516 Llanddewi Brefi) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. The alternative route for westbound traffic is to travel north from Soar y Mynydd, to its junction with the C1240. Turn left into the C1240 and travel west to its junction with the B4343 in Tregaron. Turn left into the B4343 and travel south to its junction with the U1516 in Llanddewi Brefi. Turn left and left again into the U1516 and travel east to the point of road/green lane closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 20 miles. The alternative route along the U1516 from Llanddewi Brefi becomes an un-metalled green lane after approximately 6 miles. This green lane, to the point of its closure, is only suitable for off-road vehicles and 4x4’s and serves as access to private properties/land and forestry. It is intended that the Order will come into force on 01/10/2026 and will continue until the refurbishment of the highway has been completed. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
NOTICE is given that the Council have made the Ceredigion County Council (Llanfair Road, Glanrhyd, Llanfihangel-ar-arth) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. Closed 24 hours daily. The alternative route for southbound traffic from a point north of the closure is to travel along Llanfair Road to its junction with the U5264. Turn right onto the U5264 and travel to its junction with the C1150. Turn right onto the C1150 and travel to its junction with the B4459 at Capel Dewi. Turn right onto the B4459 and travel to its junction with Llanfair Road and a point south of the closure; and vice versa. A total distance of approximately 3.9 miles. The Order was implemented on 05/10/2026 and will remain in place whilst highway support works are completed in approximately 4 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 16/09/2026, to make the Ceredigion County Council (Public Rights of Way 12/14 Llanbadarn) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026 to prohibit any walkers from proceeding along the length of public rights of way known as: 12/14 Llanbadarn; between Aberystwyth University Veterinary Centre and Cefn Llan highway. There is no alternative route. The proposed order is required to ensure public safety whilst work is ongoing to upgrade the path. It is intended that the works will commence on the 30/09/2026 and continue in force for the maximum period of six months. The Order can be extended by applying to the Welsh Government after this period.
