RHODDIR RHYBUDD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd dros Ben-y-bont-ar Ogwr gan arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a eglurir yn yr atodlen isod. 

Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd croesfan i gerddwyr sydd heb ei rheoli ynghyd â chyfyngiadau. 

Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 09/09/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd y cyntaf. Cychwynnodd y gwaith ar 21 Awst 2026. 

Atodlen - Ni chaiff yr un person beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ymlaen heibio’r man lle mae’r safle bysiau yn cael ei ail-leoli ar Stryd y Parc, ger y gyffordd â Heol St. Leonards. 

Nid oes llwybrau amgen ar gael. Darperir mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans wrth iddynt ymateb i achosion brys. Cedwir mynediad ar droed i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau fydd wedi eu diffinio drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. 

Ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n weithredol, fodd bynnag, ond ar y cyfryw amser ac i’r cyfryw raddau ag y dangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(BUS STOP RELOCATION ON PARK STREET, BRIDGEND)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below. 

The Order is in the interest of public safety due to uncontrolled pedestrian crossing with restrictions. 

The Order will come into force on 09/09/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. 

The works began on 21 August 2026.

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along bus stop relocation on Park Street, near junction of St. Leonards Road. There are no alternative routes available. 

Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. 

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. 

The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
