ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS PARK ROAD, BARMOUTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Park Road, Barmouth in its entirety.
The Order is necessary for works on behalf of Scottish Power.
Unfortunately, there is no suitable alternative route, however access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 19th October, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 33 days.
