ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) 

(ROAD TUB CORNER CROSS TO CRANNAFORD CROSS, WHIMPLE) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026 

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 14/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 25/9/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: ROAD TUB CORNER CROSS TO CRANNAFORD CROSS, WHIMPLE. 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - COCKERAM'S ROAD - ROAD FROM WARDS CROSS TO TROWDON - ROAD FROM FORCHES HEAD TO WARDS CROSS - BURROW CROSS - ROAD FROM BURROW CROSS TO LOXBROOK CROSS - ROAD FROM LOXBROOK CROSS TO CRANNAFORD CROSS & VICE VERSA. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: TRENCHING TO INSTALL NEW HV CABLE.

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 7/9/26 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 23/10/26. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a <DIRECTION> direction on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: CHURCH ROAD, ALPHINGTON, EXETER, (FROM ALPHINGTON ROAD TO JUNCTION WITH POWLESLAND ROAD / ALPHINBROOK ROAD.) 

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - CLOCKWISE - CHURCH ROAD, ALPHINGTON ROAD, IDE VILLAGE ROAD, ALPHINGTON ROAD, COWICK LANE, MARSH GREEN ROAD WEST, TRUSHAM ROAD, ALPHINBROOK ROAD.
