NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following sections of Public Footpaths:

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to a flood alleviation scheme, undertaken by Amey on behalf of Staffordshire County Council.

An alternative route is available by using footways in the locality.

A plan will be displayed on site to show length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order will come into operation on 21/9/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
