STAVELEY PARISH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 05 March 2026 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which was to close part of bridleway No.34 to facilitate public safety due bridge replacement works, has been further continued.
WHEN: 13 September 2026 to 12 March 2027.
WHERE: The bridge over the river Doe Lea on Bridleway No.34.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No alternative route is recommended.
During the closure period access will be maintained whenever reasonably possible on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should contact Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
