What is happening?

(AMENDMENT NO.14) ORDER 2026

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL
(NORTHUMBERLAND ROAD) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC)
(MAP SCHEDULE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 10 th day of September 2026 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on the 14 day of September 2026 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce
No Waiting at any time on parts of Northumberland Road
One Way Traffic (except cycles) on parts of Northumberland Road
And remove Paid for Parking Places and Permit Bay Monday to Saturday 08.00 to 18.30 Max Stay 4 hours on parts of Northumberland Road

or examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of their
provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of the 14 day of September 2026 to make application for that purpose to the High Court.
