Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 10th September 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DARNEL CLOSE, BEANHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2460)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Darnel Close, Beanhill – from outside number 1 to outside number 8.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route).
The closures will be in effect from 21st – 24th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DUNSTER COURT, FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2462)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Dunster Court, Furzton – from outside number 5 to outside number 11.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there will be no alternative route).
The road closure will be in effect from 23rd – 25th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 8th September 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (OLD WOLVERTON ROAD (PART), OLD WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2436)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Network Rail undertake repairs to the railway bridge:
Old Wolverton Road, Old Wolverton – from its junction with Haversham Roundabout to its junction with Wolverton Park Road.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Grafton Street, Millers Way and Great Monks Street (and vice versa).
The closures will be in effect from 14th September – 18th December 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CALVERTON LANE, CALVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2481)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Smith Construction undertake development works:
Calverton Lane, Calverton – from its junction with Ryland Drive to its junction with Oakhill Lane.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Watling Street, London Road, Horsefair Green and Calverton Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 14th September – 25th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MALLOW GATE (PART), CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2453)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Mallow Gate, Conniburrow – from its junction with Portway to its junction with Cleavers Avenue.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Portway, Marlborough Street and Conniburrow Boulevard (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 17th – 25th September 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
