THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CHILTERN DRIVE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Chiltern Drive
closed at its junction with Alcester Drive.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the closure will be in place
on 24 September 2026 only between the hours of 09:30 –
15:30.
The diversion route is: Access/Egress to be maintained.
The Order is required to facilitate works to replace a
decayed pole by BT.
