TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
NEW ROAD, BARLBOROUGH
WHEN: 28 September to 30 September 2026 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: New Road, Barlborough between the Jct. of High Street to No. 4.
REASON: To facilitate footway resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street, Church Street, A619, Chesterfield Road, New Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
