ADOPTED PUBLIC FOOTPATH NDA109, BETWEEN JOHNSON ROAD AND JOHNSON CLOSE
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intend to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along the Adopted Public Footpath known as Footpath NDA109 between Johnson Lane and Johnson Close.
The alternative route for pedestrians affected by this order will be along Johnson Road and Johnson Close.
Access to the footpath will be unavailable for the duration of highway improvement works, which are programmed to commence at 08.00am on 29 th September 2026. The Order will remain in force for up to a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner. It is anticipated that the works will be completed, and the footpath will re-open within 3 days.
Closure during this period is necessary in the interests of public safety during works which are being undertaken by Tarmac on behalf of Walsall Council.
