LONDON BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM

Traffic Management Order The Lewisham (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Consolidation) (Amendment No *) Order 202* The Lewisham (Charged for Parking Places) (Consolidation) (Amendment No *) Order 202*

1.  The Council of the London Borough of Lewisham proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Orders under Sections 6, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46 and 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which is to:- (a) carry out amendments to the roads included within the Rushey Green South Controlled Parking Zone (R) by including Arngask Road, Fordel Road, Glenfarg Road, Sandhurst Road, St Fillans Road and Torridon Road (between Sandhurst Road and Brownhill Road) within the zone, to operate Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm; (b) prohibit waiting by vehicles in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; (c) provide permit holders parking places in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice for use by valid permit holders only within the appropriate zone, operational on the days and times as specified therein; (d) provide shared use permit holders and pay by phone parking places in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 3 to this Notice, for use by vehicles for which the appropriate charge is paid or valid permit holders for the appropriate zone within the operational days and hours specified therein

2.  Where a new restriction has been proposed in the same length of road, the existing restrictions will be replaced by those proposed restrictions. (N.B. In the lengths of Sandhurst Road and Torridon Road as specified in this Notice, the existing pavement parking will be removed and replaced with on-street 
bays and/or no waiting at anytime (double yellow lines) as appropriate.

3.  Copies of the draft Order plans and Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be obtained by emailing a request to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk  quoting reference ‘PTO-1112’.

4.  Comments on the proposals for or against, together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent through the lewisham.traffweb.app website or in writing to trafficorders@lewisham.gov.uk or Lewisham Transport Policy & Development, Laurence House, 1 Catford Road, London SE6 4RU, quoting reference ‘PTO-1112 to arrive by 9 October 2026. 

5.  All written representations received concerning Traffic Regulation Orders are public documents that may be inspected by any person on demand.

Schedule 1: No Waiting At Any Time  (includes certain parts of the roads only) Arngask Road – on both sides, its entire length; Fordel Road – on both sides, its entire length; Glenfarg Road – on both sides, its entire length; Sandhurst Road – on both sides, between Verdant Lane and St Fillans Road; St Fillans Road – on both sides, its entire length; Torridon Road – on both sides, between the boundary of the designated red route side roads adjacent to the junction with A281 Brownhill Road and Sandhurst Road.

Schedule 2: Resident Permit Holders Only Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm (includes certain parts of the roads only)
Arngask Road – on both sides, its entire length; Fordel Road – on both sides, its entire length; Glenfarg Road – on both sides, its entire length; Sandhurst Road – on both sides, between Verdant Lane and St Fillans Road; St Fillans Road – on both sides, its entire length; Torridon Road – on both sides, between the boundary of the designated red route side roads adjacent to the junction with A281 Brownhill Road and Sandhurst Road.

Schedule 3: Shared Use Resident Permit Holders and Pay By Phone Monday to Friday between 9am and 7pm
Arngask Road – south side, at the side of No.9 St Fillans Road; north side, at the side of No.7 St Fillans Road.
