(QUARRY LANE, MANSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2026 (M26-155)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road as listed in paragraph 3.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (both sides, 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after event end times) in the following length of road as listed in paragraph 3.
3. Quarry Lane, Mansfield - from its junction with A60 Portland Street to its junction with Highfield Way4. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
5. The restriction specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above roads will apply as follows:
For 30 minutes before the expected end and 30 minutes following the actual end of any event held at the One Call football stadium
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the periods of restriction the alternative route available will be:
Sheepbridge Lane - High Oakham Hill - Atkin Lane - A60
Nottingham Road and vice versa
The Order will come into force on 12th September 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary. The Order shall continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
The prohibition is required to facilitate the safe dispersal of people from events held at the One Call football stadium.
