Off-Street Parking Places (Variation No.5) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Wychavon District Council proposes to make an Order under Section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers with the consent of Worcestershire County Council in accordance with Section 39 (3) of the Act. The effect of the Order will be to vary The Wychavon District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2021 as amended by the Wychavon District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.1) Order 2023 and the Wychavon District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.2) Order 2024 and the Wychavon District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.3) Order 2024 and the Wychavon District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Variation No.4) Order 2025 (“the Consolidation Order”) as follows:-
1. Make provision for a free initial parking period at the parking places subject to the periods and conditions identified for each Parking Place in Schedule 1.
2. Require motorists using a free parking period to obtain a ticket at no charge from a ticket machine at the relevant parking place and display it in the relevant positions on the vehicle.
3. Provide that alternative approved methods of payment cannot be used to obtain or register a free parking period.
4. Limit the issue of a free ticket to one ticket per vehicle per parking place per calendar day.
5. Replace Part III and Schedule 1 of the Consolidation Order.
Full details are contained within the draft Order which, together with a Statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at the Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore during usual office hours.
Anyone wishing to object to the proposed Order, or any part thereof, should do so in writing to the undersigned, stating the ground of such objection as soon as possible and, in any event, not later than 22 October 2026.
