Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 19eg o Hydref 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 5 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(ROAD FROM TYN Y FFRIDD TO THE RAILWAY, PENRHYNDEUDRAETH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Road from Tyn y Ffridd to the Railway, Penrhyndeudraeth from a point by the entrance road to the property known as Caereuni travelling south easterly for a distance of approximately 40 metres.
The Order is necessary for works on behalf of Wales & West Utilities.
Unfortunately, there is no suitable alternative route, however access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 19th of October 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 5 days.
