The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway buildout installations, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of: (i) royal Circus (North Leg), from the extended north kerbline of North West Circus Pl, north-eastwards for 11m; & (ii) royal Circus (South Leg), from the extended south kerbline of North West Circus Pl, south-eastwards to the extended north-west kerbline of Circus Gdns; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: (i) north West Circus Pl, both sides, from the extended west kerbline of Royal Circus (North Leg), westwards for 63m. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures of royal Circus (North & South Legs) are: (i) (North Leg) Circus Pl & Royal Circus (North Leg); & (ii) (South Leg) Circus Pl & Royal Circus (South Leg). The Order shall have effect from 08/09/26 to 07/10/26.
