DEDDF RHEOLEIDDIO TRAFFIG FFYRDD 1984 – ADRAN 14(1)

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych, ddim cynt na 7 diwrnod o 9 Medi 2026, yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y rhan honno o Ffordd y Bont, Prestatyn, yn Sir Ddinbych, sy’n ymestyn i gyfeiriad y gogledd o’i chyffordd gyda Lôn Gwaith Nwy i’r gyffordd â Sandy Lane.

Mae’n rhaid cau’r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith gan Network Rail Infrastructure Limited i adeiladu pont droed newydd ar draws y rheilffordd.

Bydd y ffordd yn agored i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y llwybr amgen ar hyd Bastion Road, Marine Road, Ffordd Prestatyn, Nant Drive, Gronant Road, Meliden Road, Ffordd Pendyffryn a Ffordd Penisardre.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 28 Medi 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf.

Rhagwelir y bydd y cyfnodau cau fel a ganlyn:-

1. 28 Medi 2026 – 23 Hydref 2026 24 awr y dydd

2. 9 Ionawr 2027 - 16 Ionawr 2027 22:00 – 06:00 yn unig.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

BRIDGE ROAD, PRESTATYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 9th September 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of Bridge Road Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh which extends northward from its junction with Gas Works Lane to its junction with Sandy Lane.

The closure is necessary to facilitate construction of new footbridge across railway by Network Rail Infrastructure Limited.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be via Bastion Road, Marine Road, Prestatyn Road, Nant Drive, Gronant Road, Meliden Road, Ffordd Pendyffryn and Penisardre Road.

The Order is effective from 28 September 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest.

The anticipated periods of closure being :-

1. 28 September 2026 – 23 October 2026 24 hours a day

2. 9 January 2027 - 16 January 2027 22:00 – 06:00 only.
